Based at the Álava Technology Park, this cooperative of scientists has spent the last 13 years turning research and innovation into biomedical solutions with an international reach.
Their speciality: smart nanohydrogels and controlled- and sustained-release technologies capable of improving the delivery of active ingredients and helping to develop more effective treatments with fewer side effects.
But i+Med goes far beyond research.
One technology. The whole process.
From R&D and regulatory certification through to clinical trials, manufacturing and market launch, i+Med integrates all the necessary stages into a single ecosystem to take its solutions from the laboratory to the patient.
Through Adaptek Technology, i+Med develops biomedical and pharmaceutical solutions for various therapeutic areas: Traumatology, ophthalmology, dermatology, esthetics and regenerative medicine
And its commitment to innovation also continues within its own facilities, with projects focused on the digitalisation and automation of its industrial processes.
And this is just the beginning
i+Med is also working on Zientziaren Basoa, a new biopharmaceutical ecosystem that will bring together scientific research, training and production.
The project involves the creation of a Scientific Research Institute, an Academy and the expansion of the production plant with five new pharmaceutical manufacturing lines.
