Forty companies and agents linked to the robotics and automation value chain gathered at the Technocité technology park in Bayonne to celebrate the International Robotics Networking Day, co-organised by Robotekin, the Estia Technology Institute, the Aquitaine Robotics Cluster and Compositadour.

Danobat’s Head of Precision Engineering, Iñaki Narbaiza; Cristophe Riboulet, Director of the Lean France Institute; Henri Bernard, Executive Director of Adaxis and Jorge Rodríguez-Guerra, director of R&D mobile robotics at Aldakin, were responsible for presenting the partners’ projects and success stories. The meeting also featured a series of conferences on cross-border collaboration opportunities organised by the Eurorregión, the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce and EIT Manufacturing.

A networking session and a visit to the Addimadour, Compositadour and Turbolab technology platforms brought the day to a close, providing an opportunity to establish contacts, explore synergies and discuss possibilities for future collaboration.

The conclusion is very clear: only through collaboration and mutual understanding can we truly drive innovation, foster growth and ensure sustainability,’ summarised Robotekin director Daniel Ruiz, who thanked everyone who participated in this experience in Bayonne.
