The Aquitaine Robotics Cluster recently made a three-day visit to Euskadi with the intention of getting to know first-hand the agents that make up the Basque robotics and automation ecosystem.
The program was coordinated by EIT Manufacturing, one of the most important communities of the innovative industrial sector in Europe, and allowed this Cluster to know the case of Robotekin during a meeting held at the facilities of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Aquitaine Robotics currently brings together more than a hundred members linked to manufacturing, logistics, services and open robotics in New Aquitaine.
A delegation of our Board of Directors took part in this meeting, held at the facilities of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, headed by Erik Echaniz, who will be its new General Manager as of January 1st, and who took the opportunity to recall the origin and the latest news of the first Robotics and Automation ‘Hub’ in the Basque Country.
The meeting between the two associations resulted in a firm commitment to continue maintaining contact in order to explore possible future collaborations.
We would like to thank Javier Gonzalez and Jeremie Dalibot, from EIT Manufacturing, for their efforts, and the managers of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, one of Robotekin‘s associate members, for their warm welcome.
