Alias Robotics inaugurates the first robot security evaluation lab in Vitoria-Gasteiz

Alias Robotics, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions for robots, has announced the opening of CS4RLab (Cybersecurity for Robots Lab), the first security assessment laboratory for robots. This innovative center, certified by the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), affiliated to  National Network of Industrial Cybersecurity Laboratories, and will offer its services to both national and international customers.

CS4RLab will be specialize in cybersecurity assessments for cyber-physical systems, as well as regulatory and standards compliance. The project represents the culmination of the efforts and experience accumulated by Alias Robotics, Robotekin‘s partner since the founding of the `hub’. 

Endika Gil-Uriarte, CEO of Alias Robotics, has underlined the importance of the certification by INCIBE: “Certifying CS4RLab with INCIBE is a key step forward for us at a strategic moment. The arrival of new regulations at EU level is posing additional challenges to manufacturers and integrators of various types of robots, from industrial to consumer”.

The laboratory, located in the heart of Alias Robotics’ headquarters in Vitoria-Gasteiz, has a state-of-the-art testing infrastructure, including hardware and software testing tools, as well as industrial facilities where the most complex robot use cases can be replicated.
