The project has been developed for Cosgra, a family company located in Crespiá (Tarragona) with more than 40 years of experience in the sector of global solutions for rotating equipment, specialized in electric motors, power transmission systems and mechanical seals, improving efficiency in order picking by integrating mobile robotics.
What was the need?
Cosgra needed to optimize hashtag#picking and warehouse organization processes to reduce picking times, minimize errors and increase productivity. They were looking for a solution that would automate the workflow in a flexible and efficient way, adapting to their operational needs.
What solution has ULMA Handling proposed?
In collaboration with Soniger-Instalux, it has developed a customized ‘Good to Person’ solution based on the incorporation of HAI mobile robots (ACR technology). In addition, the solution also includes a box storage system for light loads, arranged in three double-bottom aisles, maximizing the available space and streamlining the flow of goods. To complete the installation, inbound and outbound systems have been integrated along with an order picking station, designed to ensure fast and accurate #picking.
