Ikusmen Visión Artificial has joined Robotekin, strengthening the Basque ecosystem’s capabilities in artificial vision and artificial intelligence applied to industrial automation.

Founded in 1997, Ikusmen specialises in product development and the implementation of turnkey solutions for automated process control and 100% production inspection. Its systems can automate tasks such as defect detection, object and shape recognition, robot guidance and quality control, among other applications.

The company works with major industrial companies—primarily in the automotive and food sectors—as well as with automation solution integrators. A significant part of its business also comes from machinery and assembly line manufacturers, which incorporate Ikusmen’s systems into their own equipment.

Although Ikusmen operates mainly in the Spanish market, its solutions are also deployed across Europe, Mexico and the United States. Ikusmen has extensive experience in sectors such as automotive and metal component manufacturing. In recent years, it has significantly expanded its activity in the food and packaging industries—both highly automated sectors—and aims to strengthen its presence in the logistics industry.

Ikusmen is also a Cognex PSI (Preferred System Integrator). Cognex is a global leader in machine vision systems, software, sensors and industrial barcode readers used in manufacturing automation.

“Joining Robotekin will enable us to strengthen our relationships with companies across the Basque robotics and automation ecosystem, identify new collaboration opportunities and promote joint projects,” representatives from Ikusmen Visión Artificial said.

Robotekin is delighted to welcome Ikusmen Visión Artificial to the ecosystem!💪
