The Álava Technology Park hosted a technical conference on “Cybersecurity in Industrial Automation and Robotics Environments”, organised by Robotekin, CYBASQUE and SPRI Digital, which was attended by around fifty agents from the sector’s value chain.
Representatives from companies such as Seinale, CYBERTIX, IKERLAN, Orbik, Alias Robotics, Eurocybac and SPRI Digital outlined the key points of the new European regulations on security, NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which will impose a series of obligations on companies, manufacturers and digital developers with the aim of improving security.
In a relaxed atmosphere, those attending this monographic session asked the speakers all kinds of questions about how, when and in what way these new regulations will affect the way they produce, certify, manage and market in a more secure manner, minimising risks and cyber attacks.
The coffee break was also used by attendees to exchange phone numbers and addresses in order to discuss in greater depth the changes and transformations that the new European regulations will bring.
