As part of the celebration of the first edition of Bilbao Slush, an event of international prestige that focuses on attracting investment, startup creation and global collaboration, one of our partner companies, SEAQUENZ, presented its autonomous aerial vehicle, Vultur. “It is a solution to have real-time intelligence in emergency situations and in remote locations, which is when that information acquires more value,” said Xabier Ochoa, CEO of this SME from Alava. In addition to a unique vertical take-off system, Vultur provides unbeatable flight autonomy and contains a module that processes images in the visual and thermal spectra by means of computer vision. “It’s like having a vulture that communicates with the teams in charge of the emergency, due to its weight and characteristics,” adds Ochoa.
This first edition of Slush in the capital of Bilbao brought together more than 200 investors, including VCs, venture debt, corporate venture capital and business angels. The event was supported by the Basque Government (through its business development agency SPRI Group), Bizkaiko Foru Aldundia / Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the City Council of Bilbao.
