The Basque Robotics and Automation Association, Robotekin, is strengthening its ecosystem with the addition of TECNALIA, Spain’s largest centre for applied research and technological development, a leading European organisation and a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance.
Its main areas of activity are: smart manufacturing, digital transformation, energy transition, sustainable mobility, health and food, the urban ecosystem and the circular economy.
Its mission is to transform technological research into prosperity, and its vision is to anticipate the future as the leading agent of transformation for businesses and society, helping them adapt to the challenges of an ever-faster-changing world.
Tecnalia works with large companies, SMEs, start-ups and public institutions, tailoring its technological solutions to the real needs of each organisation.
Its model is based on long-term relationships and a commitment to results, enabling it to support industry throughout the entire innovation cycle, from the initial idea to industrial deployment.
“Our joining Robotekin represents a strategic step towards accelerating the development and adoption of robotic technologies in industry. Being part of this ecosystem allows us to share knowledge, identify common challenges and generate synergies with companies specialising in robotics, automation and enabling technologies as well as with other technology centres . At TECNALIA, we bring a cross-cutting perspective and advanced capabilities in industrial and service robotics, collaborative robotics, mobile and autonomous robotics, and artificial intelligence applied to robotic systems – areas in which we have accumulated years of experience working alongside industry,” explained TECNALIA.
For this research centre, actively participating in Robotekin “reinforces our mission to anticipate technological challenges and help Basque companies incorporate high value-added robotic solutions. This partnership allows us to move forward more quickly, share risks and maximise the impact of innovation in an increasingly competitive industrial landscape”.
Welcome TECNALIA!!!! 💪
