The first ‘hub’ of Robotics and Automation of Euskadi continues to arouse the interest of Basque technology groups and companies to join Robotekin, which is expected to allow it to close this year with 42 associate members and an optimistic outlook for the following year. One of these new members is Intermaher, a company based in the industrial park of Gojain, which is dedicated to the sale of machine tools by chip removal. In this field, since 1975 it is the exclusive representative for Spain of the prestigious Japanese brand Mazak, leader in the sector worldwide.
The company currently has a staff of 47 people, distributed between its own technology center and training center in Legutiano (Álava) and its subsidiaries in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville. As a point of added value, it should be noted that Intermaher is characterized by a high degree of monitoring in each project throughout the life cycle of the machines, which leads to focus its efforts on an optimal service of technical assistance and application engineering.
“For Intermaher it is an extraordinary opportunity to remain at the forefront of the latest trends in robotics and automation. Along with the sale of machinery, we develop automation projects in order to improve the productivity of our customers. We adapt to the needs and select the best machine automation system for each case. For this reason, we believe it is important to be part of the association“, said José Ignacio Ortiz de Urbina, Managing Director of Intermaher.
