In the framework of the visit that Enterprise Singapore has made to Euskadi to know its entrepreneurial ecosystem and the different agents of acceleration of companies such as BIC Araba, our Association has had the opportunity to present its coordinates and master lines of action with the aim of connecting associations and robotics clusters with other agents of the R&A sector in Southeast Asia.
In this sense, expanding global collaboration frameworks in the fields of robotics and automation is one of the main pillars of Robotekin’s Strategic Plan, which was presented by the CEO, Erik Echaniz. Enterprise Singapore, represented for the occasion by Mr. Alan Yeo and Ms Clare Chen, is a government agency founded in 2018 in Singapore with the aim of supporting the development, skills enhancement, innovation, transformation and internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises.
It should be recalled that this country is a destination of special strategic interest for Basque companies, as it is a ‘HUB Country’ launching pad to other ‘ASEAN’ markets, such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore or the Philippines, as well as Vietnam, Brunei, Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
